Rules

  1. Each week one member uploads an original RAW file – a Vision
    1. Uploading a Vision rotates, so each member uploads a Vision every 5th week.
    2. Order of Vision uploads (runs in circles):
      1. Niels
      2. Tue
      3. Sebastian

  2. The other members have one week to complete their Version of the image
    1. A Version is another member's edit of any given week's Vision.
    2. There are no restrictions to a Version – but some kind of call-back to the Vision is welcome :D

  3. There is one weekly deadline that must be respected to complete the challenge.
    1. Deadline is always Sundays at 23:59 – by then your Version must be uploaded
    2. Deadline for uploading the next Vision is Mondays at 23:59

  4. Before or at each deadline you must submit exactly one image to splitsek.dk including:
    1. Name your original edited version (your vision): Vision+[week] - [initials], ie. Vision1 – NS.jpg
    2. Full EXIF data
    3. At least 2048 pixels on the short edge
    4. Watermarked to reflect the author on Versions

  5. Only one failure to submit throughout the entire challenge is accepted – otherwise you failed. If you fail a deadline you are required to give notice to splitsek.dk, and you are expected to submit two images at the next deadline.

  6. There are no rules, boundaries or restrictions on content of images you submit barring 2 exceptions:
    1. Each image must respect national Danish law
    2. Each participant is bestowed 1 individual deadline, where you can “set a creative boundary” for all participants submitting to that deadline. A participant can invoke his or hers privilege one deadline at a time until all four are spent. The “creative boundary” a participant chooses to set for all is completely free and the only requirement is one weeks notice to all participants. A creative boundary could be things like: Add an element to the image, Only Black'n'White Versions, Square crops, Replace the sky and so on ... use your imagination.

  7. The challenge is completed by a participant exactly 52 weeks later – respecting the deadlines and image requirements.
